Apache Timeout Setting

If your server includes WHM/Cpanel, here is the procedure for increasing the Apache Timeout.

  1. Login to WHM.
  2. Search for and select Apache Configuration.
  3. Click Global Configuration.
  4. Find the Timeout setting (usually last item on the page).
  5. It's default is 300 seconds. Change it to 3600.
  6. Click Save button.
  7. In the next page, click Rebuild Configuration and Restart Apache.
